Krobo beads are handmade from recycled bottle glass using traditional methods by the Krobo people of Ghana.  I combine these beautiful transluscent glass beads with an eclectic mix of top quality beads and washers collected from around the world.  Examples of some of these can be seen in the photos below   and include carved terracotta beads from Mali, faux-amber resin and silver beads from Morocco, colourful ceramic beads and silver/ gold coated washers sourced from Greece, handpainted traditional trade beads also from Ghana and raku-fired porcelain beads which I make myself. Where possible, beads are purchased via a fair-trade scheme.
